Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great place to stay whilst visiting the Eifel, only 5-10 minute drive from Daun with plenty of places to eat. Hosts were lovely and friendly, they spoke very little English, but that wasn't a problem. We stopped here whilst visiting the Nürburgring for the 24h. It is close enough to the ring to drive to every day with nice roads along the way and in the surrounding area. The beds were clean and comfy, kitchen was adequate for the 4 of us, the sitting room may be a little cramped for a larger group but we weren't here to sit around in the house all day anyways. We only went on a short hike whilst we were there but there were plenty of trails in the area, around the small village.
